How to get there

Directions to the site of the NIJMEGEN12 summer school.

By public transportation

Two international airports are conveniently located: Amsterdam, The Netherlands and Düsseldorf, Germany.

From Amsterdam Airport

From Amsterdam international airport (Schiphol)  take the train to Nijmegen Central Station. In front of the railway station take a public bus (SB58) to Emmerich via Kleve. The bus will stop in front of the venue (get off at "Gnadenthal", busstop is located just before Kleve).

Travel time Amsterdam Schiphol - Schloss Gnadenthal is about 2.5 hours.

From Düsseldorf Airport

From Düsseldorf international airport (DUS)  take the train to Emmerich. From Emmerich railway station, take the bus SB58 direction Nijmegen via Kleve.  After passing Kleve, the bus will stop in front of the venue (get off at "Gnadenthal", located between Kleve and Nijmegen).
(This is the same bus as above, it runs between Nijmegen station and Emmerich station, both directions stop at Gnadenthal, located near Kleve, between Kleve and Nijmegen.)

Travel time Düsseldorf - Schloss Gnadenthal is about 2 hours.

Schedules for the trains and busses from Nijmegen railway station and Düsseldorf airport to Schloss Gnadenthal, Kleve are also available online at reiseauskunft.bahn.de.
An English version of a travel planner for The Netherlands also includes bus SB58 to Kleve/Emmerich.

Bus tickets can be bought with cash from the bus driver inside the bus.

By car

From Google Maps (German) you may find your personal driving directions to Schloss Gnadenthal.
